What Is A Frame Inspection?

 Our frame inspections include the structural, electrical, mechanical & plumbing systems of the house.   

•   On the structural inspection, we'll walk on the rooftop whenever it is safe and accessible for us to do so. We'll check the entire roofing system and all roof penetrations. And we even crawl thru the attic checking for water penetration, proper framing, load bearing walls, inside and outside, down to and including the foundation system. So structurally we’re checking the house from top to bottom. 
•     On the electrical system, check for proper electrical wiring and connections that will be behind walls, as well as checking for the correct gauge wiring. Improper connections and/or the wrong gauge wire can result in a home fire later, when the system is being used for multiple devices. 
•     The mechanical inspection includes checking for proper duct work that would be leading to these appliances and heating and cooling units. We want to make sure that any connection between two sections of ducting is made properly, so that air goes into your rooms and not your walls. 
•     On the plumbing inspection we check for proper installation of the visible pipes that will connect to the sinks, faucets, bath tubs, fixtures, and water heaters. We are checking the connections to make sure that you don't have a breakdown of materials later, resulting in flooding inside your walls.
