We have been using Arctic Fox going on eight years and have been extremely pleased with our service. Shawn, who has done our heating and cooling system for the past eight years is always on time and explains fully everything he is looking at, and warns of possible future issues. We needed a faulty aluminum cooling coil replaced and were very pleased with the price, and we got a higher quality copper coil that came with a ten-year guarantee. Additionally, we had a hospital-style air filter box added to our unit and now we can barely hear the system when it turns on... the difference is amazing and should have done it sooner. We also used Fox Inspection while our house was being built and they found multiple issues that our builder corrected, without question! William G

Another great experience with Fox Inspection. This time we had an issue with our Air Conditioner that I wasn't able to fix on my own. Shawn had the problem narrowed down to a faulty thermostat which has since been filed for warranty repair. Shawn was thorough in his review and walked me through the reasons I was having issues and quickly fixed them as part of the diagnostic service. He also followed up the next day to check whether the issues had disappeared, which they had. We realized at about 7pm that our air conditioner wasn't blowing cold air. We contacted Arctic Fox the next morning and by 5 pm we had a new A/C compressor and cold air in the house. He's a solid, smart guy, gave me good information, very courteous and pleasant to work with. I did not meetShawn McCleney in person for the HVAC inspection, but he was very conscientious, called me in the evening to make sure I received the results as soon as possible. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, experienced and informative.........and this was a hard inspection for him, roof of 2 story condo with difficult access issues. I salute both of these guys! Both of your guys emailed me, discussed in detail and gave follow up information and answered questions thoroughly. Great experience for me, although the results of the inspection weren't what we wanted.......some serious repair issues on the HVAC system, I'm glad your guys alerted us. We had an inspection completed on a home we were interested in buying about a week ago. Being built in 1970 and not having many upgrades beyond cosmetics (the current owner who did the cosmetic upgrades shared their inspection with us), we knew there would be a fair amount of work required to get the house to a point where we weren't having to worry about leaks, wood rot, or other issues common with older homes in Houston. After Bill Hurley and Sean McCleney arrived, it was immediately apparent there were items the previous owner's inspection missed the severity of or had left out altogether.

Both Bill and Shawn were extremely thorough and provided impartial insight into what they were seeing the entire time they were conducting the inspection. Having had previous experience with Fox inspections I knew the extent they would go to in order to ensure they can inspect as much of the house as possible (in the previous experience I was the seller and the buyer had chosen Fox for their inspection), but their willingness to explain the process and describe why the conditions they found might be issues was far above and beyond expectations.

In an environment where it is all too easy to price shop and the level of service received often reflects that trend, I can say with the highest confidence that I will be using Fox Inspections for my inspection needs since the relative cost of an inspection is small as compared to the potential savings of going into a home purchase without being properly informed.

We ended up not going thru with the purchase of the house described above (we really liked it, but there was just too much work to do with both of us working full time), but I'll be calling Fox again on Monday to schedule an inspection for a new house we just made an offer on. Brian Temko

I want to thank your service tech Shawn McCleney for solving a problem which we have had for several years with our Jennair downdraft stove-top exhaust. In years past we had other service techs look at the unit and they only said that it was properly installed and did not know why it just did not move enough air to be of any use when cooking. Shawn took the time to remove the housing and he discovered that the impeller was installed backward, probably from the factory. He researched the factory schematics and was able to correct the problem. The unit works fantastically now for the first time in years. Thank you for sending us such a fine professional.
