Thermal Imaging Scan

Jan 18, 2022

The inspector will use a Thermal Camera (also called an Infrared Camera) to detect differences in temperature between the suspect area of the home and the surrounding areas. This difference in temperature could indicate water / moisture in the wall, ceiling, or other area. The Thermal Camera can often "back-track" to the source of the moisture. The Thermal Camera may also detect the source of drafts, inadequate insulation, excess heat sources, and pest infestations. FREE with every Premium Home Inspection!
